ITINERARY
Day 1:
Upon your arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, our representative will greet you and assist with your hotel transfer. In the afternoon, embark on a half-day tour visiting the Tribal Museum (closed on Mondays) and the ancient Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain Caves. These rock-cut caves, among the oldest in the region, reflect the historical influence of both Buddhism and Jainism in Odisha. Enjoy an overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.
DAY 02:
After breakfast in the morning, embark on a tour of the renowned temples in the city, including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, and Mukteswar. The Mukteswar Temple stands out as a key landmark, showcasing architecture reminiscent of the Kalinga School and often referred to as the “gem of Odishan architecture.” Later, visit the Rajarani Temple. After a lunch break, head to Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Mondays), known for its white tiger safari and botanical garden. Return to Bhubaneswar for an overnight stay.
DAY 03:
After breakfast in the morning, embark on a drive to Puri. On the way, stop by Dhauli to see the Buddhist Stupa, also known as the Peace Pagoda, then visit the vibrant village of Pipli, famous for its traditional applique work. Continue your journey to the iconic Konark Sun Temple, also called the Black Pagoda. Upon arrival in Puri, check in to your hotel. In the evening, you can either visit the sacred Lord Jagannath Temple (restricted to Hindus only) or unwind on the golden sands of Puri beach. Overnight stay in Puri.
DAY 04:
Start your day with a scenic drive to Chilika Lake at Satapada, the largest Ramsar site in Asia, renowned for its migratory birds arriving from far-off regions. Embark on a boat cruise to spot the playful Irrawaddy Dolphins and explore the tranquil Rajhans Island. Afterward, return to Puri. In the evening, enjoy a stroll through the vibrant beach market. Overnight stay in Puri.
DAY 05:
Drive back to Bhubaneswar, with a stop at Raghurajpur, an artisan village renowned for its Pattachitra artwork, traditional paintings on fabric. After exploring the village, continue your journey to Bhubaneswar and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
